Weekend Schedule

May the fourth be with us!

Fri, May 3, 2024
7:30PM - 10PM

Roast-hearsal Dinner

Instead of a formal rehearsal dinner, we'd like to invite everyone to join us for a chill night of BBQ and beers. In addition to roast meats and veggies, we'll have an open mic starting 8:30PM where you get to roast us (or tell funny/embarrassing stories about us)! Parents be ware that there will probably be some R rated jokes thrown in there. We'll have prizes for the spiciest roasts, so bring your best!

If you need inspirations for your roast, here are some fun ones on Comedy Central.

Whitewater Rafting

Did you know May is the best time for whitewater rafting here, thanks to all the mountain snowmelt? We can't let you come to a town called Three Rivers without spending some time on the steepest river in the lower 48 states. Join us for a beginner friendly 1-1.5 hour rafting trip on the Kaweah River on Saturday morning (minimum age 6 yrs).

We'll bring coffee and picnic breakfast, so even if you aren't rafting, feel free to stop by before 9:30AM to say hi and grab a bite! If you are rafting, please get here by 9:15AM for safety briefing and gear fitting.

Ceremony

The moment of truth: who's going to cry first during the vow exchange: Jim or Angela? Ceremony starts at 6PM so please arrive on time (or better, come early for the Pre Ceremony Cocktail & Appetizers). Please don't take photos or videos during the ceremony. We have a professional photographer and videographer.

Enjoy a sunset dinner along the Kaweah River while our family and wedding party say nice things about us. Then dance the night away under the stars.

Sequoia Hike & Hang

Technically, the wedding is over on Saturday night. And if you have to drive back early on Sunday or want to do a solo adventure, we totally get it.

But if you want to hang out with us even more, we'll be doing a chill celebratory hike (... more like a walk) through the big Sequoia trees via the Circle Meadow Loop via Congress and General Sherman Tree Trail. Meet us at the General Sherman Tree Car Park at 11AM. The parking lot might get busy on Sundays so consider getting here earlier to budget time for parking!

There will likely be some snow on the trail still, so bring your waterproof hiking boots.
